The author argues that a successful educational dialogue of cultures contributes to the harmonization of international relations. At the preparatory faculty of a Russian university, it can be organized based on textbooks (manuals) on RFL, informing about Russian culture, the national culture of students and the interaction of these cultures. The article examines examples of such publications, analyzes the difficulties of their use at the initial stage of training. The author emphasizes that the dialogue of cultures, carried out on the basis of the same textbook (manual) on RFL, in different educational groups of the preparatory faculty may not be identical due to the fact that the composition of groups, as a rule, is very diverse, and the perception of the same cultural facts by representatives of different national cultures, religions, ages, etc., may be different. However, the Russian teacher should direct this dialogue in such a way as not to discredit his own culture or the culture of the students and to achieve mutual understanding in communication. The teacher must take into account the specifics of a particular student audience, the national interests of Russia and humanity in general, and use the study time to present useful and scientifically valuable knowledge. At the same time, the traditional values of the Russian people (based on universal human values), which are recognized by the majority of modern Russians and the majority of representatives of other countries and peoples, can become a support in the dialogue of cultures. Modern textbooks (manuals) on RFL and lessons organized on their basis should have a social value, help students find their place in life and profession, teach them the ability to understand representatives of Russian culture and warn against possible misconceptions and conflicts in future intercultural communication.
